LifePath has launched a new Website!
Over the past several years we have grown and expanded our programs and services, and now manage sites beyond the city of Albany. We also have seen the wants and needs of the aging population change. So, this year we found ourselves at a point where we had simply outgrown our name, and after reviewing who we are and what we do we have emerged as LifePath.
Baby Boomers are now reaching the “Third Age” and looking for programs and services that keep them independent, self-sufficient, and thriving in their communities. And the Baby Boomers represent nearly double the population of the generation before it.
These “new” seniors are not afraid of technology, in fact, they are embracing it. Online digital and social media platforms are now heavily used to communicate with loved ones and do research and find information on programs and services they can benefit from. Online and social media also provide us with the ability to reach more people seeking our services.
Our new website, www.lifepathny.org has more content about our programs and services and has improved navigation so it’s easier to find what you’re looking for. The site separates the content into sections designed for:
- People who currently use our programs and services
- Those who would like more information about our programs and services
- Family members and caregivers
- Volunteers and those who would like to support LifePath.
