Community Dining

Sharing nutritious meals with neighbors in welcoming community settings.

LifePath’s Community Dining program offers hot, nutritious meals at locations across the Capital Region. Participants enjoy social activities, educational sessions and opportunities to connect with neighbors, helping reduce isolation and stay engaged in the community.

About the Program

LifePath partners with the Albany County Department for Aging to provide the Community Dining program, offering hot, nutritious meals in a welcoming environment. Many locations offer programs before and after meals to extend social time, giving participants a chance to socialize, learn and stay engaged through educational sessions, health and wellness activities and other opportunities to connect with neighbors. These programs help reduce isolation and build meaningful friendships. Each site has its own personality, but all welcome new participants.

Who Is Eligible

Adults 60 or older who live in Albany County are eligible to participate in meals at any Community Dining site. Adults under 60 or those living outside Albany County are welcome to join as paying guests.
